Overview

The art strand is open to everyone who lives, works, attends school, or is a member of an organisation in Hartley Wintney or one of the twinned parishes. Collaborative contributions from local organisations and schools are very welcome. All forms of art will be accepted and there is no theme so the subject can be anything you like. The aim is to submit five pieces created by the people of Hartley Wintney and selected by the public. The rules and instructions for entering can be found below. The closing date for entries is to be finalised but will be around the end of 2009.

The five pieces chosen to represent Hartley Wintney will be added to those created by the other communities. The works of art, photographs, and the output from the heritage, environment and music strands will all feature in  an exciting exhibition to be held in Malle in September 2010. This exhibition will also visit each of the communities with which Malle is twinned, namely St Savin in France, Heusenstamm in Germany and Zakrzowek in Poland. The exhibition will visit Hartley Wintney in 2011.

1. The Art strand of Golden Bridge is open to everyone who lives, works, attends school, or is a member of an organisation in Hartley Wintney, Mattingley, Heckfield, Winchfield and Rotherwick. 2. All forms of Art are accepted, including painting, drawing and sculpture, but not photography, which has its own strand. However, photographic manipulation and montage are accepted in this strand and not in the Digital Photography strand.
